Broadcasting A Pay Per View
Broadcasters at SportscastLive.com can easily execute pay-per-view telecasts of live events and also monetize video on demand broadcasts using our Pay-Per-View system.
You can be set up in seconds by following these directions.
1. Make sure that you have a Pay Pal account. All financial transactions at SportscastLive.com are executed through Pay Pal. After your broadcast is complete, you will transfer your ticket revenues to your Pay Pal account.
2. Set up your Pay Per View show under the My Shows link once you are logged onto the network.
3. Make sure that you schedule your show and designate the length of the show. This is important for the system to execute your pay per view properly and also make sure your broadcast shows up in all listings.
4. Click on the Pay Per View tab and set your ticket price. When you are setting pricing, take note that you will receive 70% of the proceeds from each ticket sale. There is a 30% SportscastLive.com broadcast fee on all pay per view broadcasts which covers all the operational costs that SportscastLive.com provides, including storage, streaming, processing, marketing and any other cost related to the business. Credit card processing fees charged by Pay Pal will be paid by the ticket purchaser at the time of the transaction.
5. Tickets will now be available to your broadcast. You can monitor revenues by using the My Balance link. Take note that monies will not clear until after your broadcast is complete to allow for refunds in the event that your broadcast never takes place or there are any additional issues. A Refund button will appear on the Pay Per View tab after the first ticket is purchased to your show.
6. After your live broadcast is complete, your Pay Per View show will transition into Video On Demand mode if you recorded it at the time of broadcast. Ticket sales will continue. You can change the price if you wish on the Pay Per View tab, and all future sales will reflect the new price.
